Unstoppable Tony Cairoli wins again in Portugal

  • The eight-times world champion keeps on winning making his own a key feature of #fullback, the product hero of the official fleet of the FIM #mxgp Motocross World Championship.
  • The recent success repeats last week's at the "Fiat Professional #fullback #mxgp di Lombardia" and consolidates his leadership in the ranking.
  • Together with Tony Cairoli's exciting win, spectators could admire the #fullback pick-up and the new Talento at the stand set up by Fiat Professional, the Official #sponsor of the competition.

#tonycairoli is unstoppable: not by chance, simply winning is not enough to become an Italian sports icon and being named world champion eight times. You need something else. By winning on the track in Agueda, Portugal, #tonycairoli has consolidated his leadership in the ranking: he is now first with 478 points.

The Portugal GP is one of Tony's favourites. He obtained a good score here at his debut in the first championship season coming 5th in 2004. This result was followed by a first place in 2005, a third place in 2006 and a first place in 2007, in 2008 and in 2009. He came second in 2010 and in 2011; third in 2012 and second in 2013, for a total of nine consecutive podiums and no fewer than four wins, of which three in a row.

Enthusiasm, determination and constant dedication allow the Sicilian champion to stand out and are the values he shares with Fiat Professional. Not by chance, the brand picked him as ambassador and is by his side during this challenge which is tough and selective but also very rewarding. Furthermore, for the second year running, Fiat Professional is also Official #sponsor of the exciting FIM #mxgp Motocross World Championship.

The #event was also the opportunity to admire at the Fiat Professional stand the unstoppable #fullback, the product hero of the official fleet of the FIM #mxgp Motocross World Championship, which was recently named best new vehicle of the year by the monthly Za Rulem (Behind the Wheel). With its Italian style and bold looks, the new pick-up perfectly embodies the love for a challenge of Fiat Professional on the global market and Tony Cairoli's winning attitude: the ability to excel characterises the entire Fiat Professional range, which is the first brand "born to be professional" entirely dedicated to light transport customers.  By its side is Talento, the model that with its generous loading capacity is the ideal work mate for professionals in city streets and on major roads alike. It is characterised by its outstanding versatility and ability to adapt to different customer needs.

The brand can boast over one hundred years of history and a one-of-a-kind baggage of experience in the world of commercial vehicles. Completely refreshed in just two years, the Fiat Professional line-up today has the right answer for all transport mission needs because all segments are covered. All body types, load capacities and volumes, a complete choice of wheelbases, widths and height variants, in addition to high-efficiency engines and various fuels options (petrol, diesel, LPG and methane) are provided. What is more, the brand places assertive focus on "specialities", such as passenger transport and the world of converted vehicles.
