With the Arrival of Spring, Four Seasons Hotel Milano Reopens its Peaceful Cloistered Garden to Enjoy a Meal “Al Fresco” in the Heart of the City’s Vibrant Fashion District

In addition to La Veranda’s spring menu, guests will be able to indulge in Japanese-inspired dishes and a selection of sushi and sashimi

April 23, 2018,  Milan, Italy

Guests at Four Seasons      #hotel Milano and locals alike will be able to enjoy a meal al fresco in the Hotel’s garden, reopen for the spring to soak the first rays of sunshine. Open for breakfast, lunch, aperitivo and dinner, the Hotel’s garden offers a relaxing setting steps away from the world’s leading-couture houses in the vibrant Fashion District. From influent designers and architects to fashion leader influencers, locals and #hotel guests, all enjoy the Hotel’s intimate garden, which has become a favourite spot to chill out and socialise while enjoying a meal or a cocktail proposed by Bar Manager Luca Angeli.

New this year, the #hotel will offer a selection of Japanese Tastes and Flavours, a pop-up signature menu created by Yuhei Masumori, one of the Hotel’s Chefs de Partie. Native from Kyoto, Yuhei’s journey brought him to Italy ten years ago to work for prestigious restaurants including the three-Michelin starred Da Vittorio. Happy to create a bond between his homeland and Italy, his menu features a mix of traditional Japanese dishes such as nigiri and sashimi created with the finest fish, and signature creations such as the sweet and sour mackerel, and the spaghetti with shiso pesto sauce, a unique recipe revisiting the famous Italian sauce.

These dishes can be paired with a glass of Champagne or a selection of Japanese-inspired cocktails created for the occasion such as the Hanami, a tribute to the famous Japanese cherry blossoms, made of Nikka Coffey Vodka, liqueur de violette and dried red raspberries.
