Tactical RPG deckbuilder Cross Blitz gains first major update today, featuring an all-new hero and his campaign

Publisher The Arcade Crew (The Last Spell, Infernax) and Tako Boy Studios today released a new adventure for Cross Blitz, the RPG deckbuilder with turn-based tactical combat available for PC on Steam. In celebration of today's arrival, Cross Blitz will be 30% off its 19.99€ price throughout the Deckbuilders Fest Steam Sale (March 25 - April 1). Deckbuilding strategists and fans alike will meet the bold thief Quill and adventure with him in his dedicated three-chapter, narratively driven campaign "A Perilous Pilfering". 

Quill's desire to build a legacy for himself sees him braving increasingly dangerous heists, risking his well-being to score his next big payout. Though his devious talents are his only hope for paying his mounting debt, Quill's underhanded skill set also helps him make ends meet for his beloved, struggling family. Bringing justice to his fellow common people by stealing from the upper class is a natural motivation for Quill, too.

Cross Blitz's previous two 'Fables' campaigns feature the story of the fearless pirate Redcroft and his ordeal to win back his stolen freedom from a merciless princess; and the adventures of the famous pop star Violet in search for a way to unmask a mysterious doppelganger hijacking her stardom.

"A Perilous Pilfering" also marks the arrival of Cross Blitz's Steam Achievements, as well as the debut of an in-game new set of cosmetic card backs. It will be followed by future updates as Tako Boy Studios continues to evolve and develop Cross Blitz in Early Access ahead of its full release.
