A new form of green mobility? Now possible thanks to the sensitivity of children

Beking isn't just a one-day event, it's a real cultural manifesto that involves people with a variety of lifestyles and improves its quality thanks to the most environmentally friendly means of transport: the bicycle.

The founders, Matteo Trentin and Claudia Morandini, are once again relying on the cornerstones that have led them to create a project that involves families, champions and fans.
"Sharing, educating the new generations," explains Claudia. "At Beking, the spirit of everyone is to do good, to try to change things, to educate people about respect and the values of sport, which are then those of life".

Cycling has changed, not only individually but also and above all collectively. Beking is also an incentive to show how lean and sustainable urban travel is possible.
"We want cycling to be seen not only as a sport for us professionals, but also as a lifestyle that helps the city and its people to live in a greener way," stressed Trentin. "Previous editions have taught us that it is possible to move around Monaco, and indeed any city, by educating the younger generation in the correct use of bicycles."

In recent years, the event has had an important impact on Monaco, so much so that the population and the public seem to have become more involved in the sport in a functional and healthy way.
"I see more children cycling in the city, more adults using e-bikes to get around and to get to work," Claudia noted. "A lot of people have started to watch cycling on TV, who didn't before. Our champions have shown a more human side and have inspired the crowds to cheer them on throughout the season. This is part of the magic of Beking and we are very happy about it.

The message of the project is getting stronger every year, thanks to the support of the partners and professional cyclists who have joined the cause, as Matteo confirmed:
"We have to thank everyone who has supported us up to now, from the sponsors to our professional friends and the team that puts its commitment and passion into this great adventure every day. Cycling is a team sport and unity is everything in moments like this. Together we can achieve a lot".
