Made to evoke the intrepid spirit of explorers like Columbus, Cabot, and Vespucci, its robust build and rustic charms continue a long maritime tradition at #montegrappa. This time, we honour the powerful tools that helped mariners explore the open seas, and change how we see the world.
Perhaps no ocean voyage has had a greater impact on humanity than the Magellan Expedition: last week marked the 500th anniversary of its completion. Then, as now, technology made the crucial difference – which is why Age of Discovery boasts mechanical delights of its own. Its telescopic design features Power-Push – a revelation for the fountain pen aficionado. Never have design and one-touch filling been more seamlessly integrated.
Also hidden from sight is a magnetic compass. Neatly concealed within the cap, this miniature working model is the first wayfinding complication ever to feature on a #montegrappa. Like every other handcrafted detail, it is a reminder to always boldly follow one's own course.
